A closer examination of the linkage between craft and fashion suggests a paradox. For all the perceived dependency of crafts on the business of fashion to ensure its sustenance, fashion is apparently the least suited medium to do justice to crafts. Fashion fragments time while crafts inherently continues human expression defined by time, material and skill in a sustainable ecosystem. The reality is that modern fashion is as confused as its consumer……..
